blogger stats feedback
Published Monday, July 12, 2010 by Unknown in blogger, Google- Comments overview : I love the approach to keep it all under the same dashboard umbrella by integrating it into to the service. Perhaps this could also be used to follow up on "indoor" and "outdoor" comments.
- Rating overview : Something that could be usefull for the ratings option, from which I've no idea when someone actually rates anything unless I (almost accidently) notice it.
- Buzzed topics : And just as well to display your "shared items" or "buzzed topics". And could be shown in a customizable way on one of your 10 pages, perhaps through a widget?
- Posting way : Some alternate ways to post messages. Meaning something like Buzz, Jaiku or Tumblr allows you to do. That could be calibrated to have it's own independant look (from other post) when posted.
- Extrapolation post data : Even though that's already quite a lot to start with. I'ld still love to see Blogger take the data we input to a post and forward it as suggestions to other services. Meaning that urls could go to Google Bookmarks as a kind of Delicious. Where it could use the tags you've given to the post. Idem dito for YouTube clips and anything else you could extrapolate from the post.
- Image browsing : Which could lead to an option like "browse this blog through it's images". That could just as well be added to one of the ten remaining pages.
- Traffic sources mashup : When being linked to a popular site your ratings can suddenly skyrocket. This is displayed by the overview graph and the "traffic sources". Why not combine both sources so that you might see on the graph how much space that source fills-up. And to add these sources to the "posts" overview in "stats" by adding "(x)xx % from ...".
