While writing a story about the augmented use of British postal stamps, I thought about another way of making the concept a usefull extra for the public.

By giving each stamp a unique code, just like for url shortners, that could be used as an additional service. Which would enable the sender to attach a link to his stamp. That could then be used to forward you towards the main page of a company website, a fee collecting page, and so on.

I would allow anyone with a smartphone and the free Junaio app to get the same or other information on their smartphone.  And it would also allow the service to be used without the presence of such a tool.  Making it accesible wherever you can connect to the net.
